How long have you been a travel advisor and where are you based?
I have been a travel advisor for more than 35 years and am based in Tustin, California. Over the years, I’ve helped clients plan cruises, luxury vacations, and customized itineraries all over the world. My experience allows me to guide travelers toward the best destinations, cruise lines, and travel partners.
Do you speak any languages besides English?
I speak English and have a strong understanding of Spanish. This helps when working with international travel partners and assisting clients traveling to Spanish-speaking destinations.
Which travel partners are you most experienced with?
I regularly work with trusted travel partners including Princess Cruises, Norwegian Cruise Line, Celebrity Cruises, Holland America Line, Viking, and Royal Caribbean. For land travel and customized itineraries, I often book with partners like Pleasant Holidays and Avanti Destinations. These partnerships help provide reliable service, strong value, and memorable travel experiences.
What do you love most about planning travel for clients?
I enjoy helping clients create memorable vacations by paying attention to the details that make a trip special. My goal is to provide a smooth planning experience while ensuring every part of the itinerary fits their travel style. Seeing clients return home with unforgettable memories is the most rewarding part of my work.
Who do you work best with as clients?
I work best with couples, families, and travelers who want a customized itinerary and value expert travel advice. Many of my clients are planning milestone trips, family vacations, or special celebrations. They appreciate trusted recommendations, unique experiences, and a well-planned trip from start to finish.
What is one insider travel tip you often share with clients?
I recommend starting the planning process at least six to eight months in advance, especially for popular destinations and cruise itineraries. Early planning helps secure the best pricing, availability, and preferred accommodations. I also advise clients to review travel requirements, consider travel insurance, and prepare important documents before international trips.
What are your favorite destinations you have personally traveled to?
Some of my favorite destinations include Mexico, Hawaii, and Alaska. I also love visiting Costa Rica and exploring different islands throughout the Caribbean. Each destination offers something unique, from beautiful beaches to incredible nature and culture.
If you could recommend one hidden gem destination, what would it be?
Turks and Caicos is one of my favorite hidden gem destinations for travelers looking for beautiful beaches and a relaxing Caribbean escape. The islands offer clear turquoise water, excellent resorts, and a peaceful atmosphere. It’s a wonderful choice for couples, honeymooners, or anyone wanting a quieter island vacation.
Tell us about a memorable trip you planned for a client.
One memorable trip I planned was a five-year anniversary celebration where I helped secure a beautiful hotel, upgraded amenities, and special surprises for the couple. Through my industry connections, I arranged added touches like champagne on arrival and spa credits that made the stay feel extra special. Careful coordination with the hotel ensured the trip was seamless and truly memorable for my clients.
